Hello neighbors, this will most likely be my last update for a few weeks as like many other people, I am busy. I am changing companies, also launching my own company, and quite a few other activities, however wanted to leave everyone with a few breadcrumbs... 1. East Bay Times released the article contained in this update on January 5th. 2. I am not giving up (unless there is no change) 3. I don't want any credit, thanks, or appreciation for any of this. Just be vigilant and report the crime or theft if you see it or happens to you. Today, stickers to market hogoki.com were placed on all neighborhood mailboxes and dog poop stations with the link to the reporting help site hogoki.com. If you have not seen, its a pretty simple site with the mission to elevate reporting and with objectives to enhance the knowledge of how to report and methods of reporting crime...and everything links back to Hayward Police Department. The Police told me the day they visited that I should get my neighbors to report. That said and now ~2 weeks later, we have created an easy instructional site hogoki.com along with marketing it via stickers around all the new home communities in Cannery Place/Burbank neighborhood. At the end of this next week, after more neighbors see the site, sign the petition, I will likely close-out this petition, take the results and share them with the Mayor and Police Chief. With that, I urge all neighbors to report and to hold your neighbors accountable to report. Not reporting crime places us all in danger! Thank you for those brave neighbors who are courageous enough to put your name to something, for a cause to do better. You would be surprised by how many people talk but don't take action...and by signing this petition YOU took action.
