Don't put this off any longer. Sign this to #SaveBBC3 before it's too late - http://bit.ly/1MJqdgS. Come January the move to online could happen, and the channel will be hit with a massive cut in funding that will consequently hit our favourite shows. Already 10,000 have signed the consultation through our website, but we must encourage more. It's important that you, your friends, and your family sign. It's not just BBC Three at stake here. It's the future of programming for 16-34 year olds too. With these proposals the programming budget will be halved and respent on older audiences on BBC1. If the online service fails those budgets for 16-34 year olds will disappear altogether. This fight is also about the future of the BBC too. Those who care about BBC Four, CBBC, and CBeebies are watching this with interest. Once one service is allowed to close there will be other closures. The Director General says they are safe, but can we believe him? This is also about having somewhere on the BBC where new talent can be nurtured. There's no way shows like Murdered By My Boyfriend, In The Flesh, Stacey Dooley Investigates, Free Speech, The Revolution Will Be Televised, or People Just Do Nothing would have aired on BBC TV without a homing ground like BBC Three. And this fight is also about showing we won't just sit back and allow the BBC management and BBC Trust to saddle young people with the cuts. Isn't it time they got their own house in order first? The number of senior managers earning over £160,000 in the past year has increased from 66 to 74. So don't put this off any longer. Sign at http://www.savebbc3.com/response. If you've done it already and you have anything extra to say just email changestobbcservices2015@bbc.co.uk.
