Just a quick update to let you know the *official* BBC Trust consultation has reopened on the future of BBC Three. You can participate in this either through the online survey - https://consultations.external.bbc.co.uk/bbc/provisional-decision-on-bbc-three-and-others/ - or by emailing changestobbcservices2015@bbc.co.uk The BBC are currently refusing to explain how they would use the space for BBC Three and BBC Three HD if the channel is taken off TV next year. This is presumably because they know the cost of a new service could then exceed what BBC Three going off our screens would save. The BBC proposes launching the online scaled-back BBC Three in January - with BBC Three on TV winding down from the New Year until a full closure in March. It's time to make clear your opposition to these proposals. I will explain in greater detail over the coming days my own opinion on this, but if you have a strong opinion get responding now!
