After suffering at the hands of my most recent partner and seeing the number of people who are suffering or leaving the exact situations myself and my family were in.  I am making this petition to see that non physical DOMESTIC VIOLENCE be treated the same as any other form of domestic violence. Habitual cheating puts your partner at risk of disease, it should be a form of sexual violence. Psychological emotional and financial abuse being labeled as such and having minimal to no consequences isnt enough. There has to be adequate qmeasures taken so as to prevent it from escalating to physical. The toll these types of abuse take is lasting damaging almost too often the person is left mentally and emotionally irreparable. Not to mention the physical health issues many are left with after healing the emotional traumas. We need to see more extreme legal justice.
