Current MBBS passed out batch of 2018 would not be able to write TN MRB under current circumstances as the last date for application is July 15th. This is due to procedural delay on the side of college management and TN MGR University in issuing pass certificate 2. Due to this majority of 2018 batch govt medical college students are in sorrow as they are unable to apply for this exam. Moreover after receiving pass certificate it is mandatory to register at TNMC to get registration number and e certificate as well. Currently the time slot for TNMC registration will take 4-5 days at the least. E certificate generation will take around 10 days making it impossible to apply for TNMRB within the deadline. TNMRB requires not just registration number but e certificate as well to be uploaded for the application to be accepted. So our only option is to ask for extension of last application dates for a month or to allow us to apply for mrb with pass certificate 2. This is only possible by showing our support in large number to meet health minister and health secretary and sign this petition .
