We are up to 204!

Thanks again for your support of a new bridge here. I've been asking people as they enter the bridge "How would your routine change if this bridge were not here?"  Most people can't picture it not being there but if it were to fall in tomorrow it would be removed and possibly never replaced. We'd be forced to cross Memorial in front of St. Thomas High School or via the Waugh Cloverleafs.  Both are highly dangerous for pedestrians and bikers.

The impact on Cleveland Park and those of us who live in Magnolia Grove or close to the bridge would be huge. If you drive to the bridge and park (running groups, boot camps) you will have a hard time finding parking near the two other entries if this bridge is no longer in Cleveland Park.

The most important next step you can take is to hit the subscribe button at Memorial Heights Tirz5  website. Great work is happening from our TiRZ including the Shephard Durham makeover. They have a long list of projects and pushing up those important to our neighborhoods is critical.

Thanks again - we'll be at the bridge Saturday doing a live count of traffic.  If you 'd like to volunteer for an hour  on Saturday, contact me.

If you'd like information on our Adopt A Tree program stop by between 7am and 11 am. We still need 37 Adopters to fill the permits we have already bought for the November 8 planting day.  No Adopters, no new trees. All the info is on our website.

And,  if you'd like to be help me with this new ballfield sign for Officer Tim Hearn -make a tax deductible donation of any amount at Friends of ClevelandPark.net  . Every dollar is very much appreciated. Raising $1300 for the new sign has been much more challenging than I imagined.  I'm happy that the Hearn family and HPARD loves the new proposed  sign that will be hung in the park in June to replace the really odd one there now.

Thanks again for your help.
