The once-proud school district of Prosper ISD and its constituents have been duped! As a parent of a previous student-athlete, with more coming into Rock Hill High School soon, it is apparent that M. Wilkinson's hiring as athletic director has proven to be an abysmal choice for Rock Hill High School's Head Coach. That decision will forever tarnish its reputation. Under his athletic coordination, this team has never had a winning season in 6A, not even a winning record!

Besides his evident inability and lack of mental acuity for the role, as demonstrated by his on and off-the-field decisions, he has brought blatant dishonesty to his peers, parents, and players. He has met via telephone and face-to-face with many parents and players alike, who report similar experiences of being reassured, only to find out later that he did the opposite of what was discussed or promised. He reports that he is "building young men." Yet, he is solely concerned about only promoting high-level Division I athletes, causing players, perhaps on the bubble, to suffer because of his specific benching or lack of attention. He and Coach Summerfield discourage sub-Division I athletes from promoting and fail to give them the same attention as potential Division I athletes. The proliferation of his mentality and style has directly resulted in the destruction of morale amongst parents and coaches and ruined the game for those potential players who want to continue but are considered not a Division I athlete. 

He is the most incompetent coach unequivocally and should all be removed upon his departure (Summerfield, Farris, McMahan, & Ramos.)

The taxpayers and parents of the young athletes deserve much more. We call on you, Dr. H. Ferguson, and the Prosper ISD School Board of Directors to intervene this season and immediately remove Athletic Director M. Wilkinson.
