With the news that Tim Hortons has discontinued the blueberry fritter there is shock and horror. Canada and the blueberry are synonymous. The fact that this incredible donut is now gone, and its far less delicious counterpart 'The Apple Fritter' is still being sold baffles me. When I was younger I went to Tim Horton's and always got this donut. I felt it was the most incredible donut the chain had to offer. That moment when you finally reach that incredible blueberry filling was just so enjoyable and satisfying.

I recently reached out to a customer support representative at Tim Horton's and got this response." I would like to thank you for writing to us to express your concerns regarding the discontinuation of the Blueberry Fritter.  I am sorry if we have disappointed you. The decision to discontinue items is based on a number of factors as we are always looking to make improvements to our menu. Although the Blueberry Fritter  was a popular product, discontinuing it allows us to make room on our menu for new offerings and promotions." -Nicole TDL Group. Nicole from HQ states the fritter was a popular product. I find it unfair that legendary items like the Blueberry Fritter be taken off the menu, while other less purchased novelty donuts no one buys remain on the menu such as the promotional items. 

Please Tim Horton's do the right thing and bring back the Blueberry Fritter!
