On January 22nd 2021 one of the greatest baseball players to ever play the game passed away. Hammerin Hank Aaron was born in Mobile Alabama. Grew up in a segregated South learn to play the game of baseball and eventually became one of, if not the greatest, greatest players of all times.

His hometown of Mobile Alabama has a long and rich history of building ships for the United States Navy, including the Littorall combat ship, commonly referred to as the LCS, by Austal USA.

To honor one of the greatest baseball players of all time, and honor the life of one of America's greatest heroes, this petition calls upon the United States Navy, and the United States Secretary of Navy to name one of the LCS ships remaining to be built in Mobile Alabama after Mobile's Hometown Hero the USS Hank Aaron.
