This is Not Our Store

The Issue

It is with great concern for the well-being and reputation of our community that we address the issue surrounding "This is Our Store" located at the corner of Mobberly and Young Streets. After careful consideration and extensive community feedback, we have determined that the continued operation of this establishment poses significant challenges to our shared goal of maintaining a safe and welcoming environment in our beloved arts district. Moving forward, we remain dedicated to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure the continued growth and success of our arts district. By taking a stand against harmful influences and upholding our shared values of creativity, diversity, and community spirit, we will pave the way for a brighter, safer, and more prosperous future for all who call this place home.

For too long, "This is Our Store" has been a focal point for illicit activities that undermine the integrity and vibrancy of our community. Reports of loitering, drug trafficking, and individuals residing on the premises have become all too common, casting a shadow over the positive efforts of local artists, businesses, and residents to uplift and enrich our neighborhood.

As stewards of this community, we cannot turn a blind eye to the detrimental impact that "This is Our Store" has on our collective well-being. We recognize the importance of fostering a culture of safety, inclusivity, and positivity in our arts district, and it is incumbent upon us to take decisive action to address this issue.
