• For 22 months, I have been fighting for their release. I have been completely stripped of my rights as their legal owner, while all actions related to their detention are unlawful, in direct violation of regulations, and carried out without any legal basis. Yet, the shelter in Olsztyn and other involved public officials continue to engage in these illegal acts without consequence. Despite the obvious unlawfulness, I am still unable to bring my dogs home.

🟥 WHO IS AFFECTED?

• This is not a personal issue. This affects all of us — every dog owner, every citizen who believes that institutions and organizations should act fairly. It affects people who trust the system, who hand over their animals for “temporary care” believing they will be treated justly. Instead, they become victims of a structure where decisions are made behind closed doors, documents disappear, and animals are stripped of their identities. Today it happened to me. Tomorrow, it could happen to you.

 

 

 

 

🟥 WHAT’S AT STAKE?

• This is not just a fight for five dogs. It’s a fight over the boundaries of law, dignity, and ownership in a democratic country. If this practice is ignored, it sends a clear message: it is acceptable for foundations, shelters, or officials to seize animals without consequences — without oversight, without accountability, without justice. But if we put an end to it now, we send a different message: that truth matters, that people matter, and that no one is above the law — not even those who hide behind the word “help.”

🟥 WHY NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT

• Because we are out of time. These dogs have been held illegally for over 20 months. The evidence is clear. The manipulation is exposed. The silence of the institutions is louder than any cry. That’s why we can’t wait. Every day of delay is another life lost, another person silenced, another abuse ignored. Right now, every signature, every share, every voice matters. Not just for me.
