What started as a single complaint is now being followed by 1,500 people. That level of attention matters, especially at the point where a case has already been developed and is awaiting a decision.

We are now in the phase of this process where the investigation is no longer the focus. That work has already been completed. The evidence has been gathered, the record has been built, and the case has been placed in the hands of the State’s Attorney’s Office for a charging decision.

At this stage, the process becomes less visible from the outside. Decisions are not made publicly. They are reviewed internally, evaluated against the law, and weighed based on the record that has already been established.

The State’s Attorney’s Office has been contacted again for an update, and we are awaiting their response.

At the same time, the Office of the Attorney General has now been notified. 

This is no longer about uncovering what happened. That has already been done. It is about what will be done with it.

We now wait for that answer.
