A Special Thank You to Senator Russ Goodman 🇺🇸 

We are so grateful to Georgia State Senator Russ Goodman for sending Theo a beautiful letter recognizing his graduation and the long journey it took to get him there.

What meant so much to me was that Senator Goodman didn’t only congratulate Theo   he recognized the bigger meaning behind his story. He wrote that Theo’s journey is a reminder of the importance of “inclusion, compassion, and making certain every student has the opportunity to be recognized for their accomplishments.” 

Those words speak directly to why Theo’s Law exists.

Theo finally had his moment to walk across the graduation stage, but our work does not stop with him. We are continuing this fight so that future Georgia students who miss graduation because of hospitalization, residential care, medical restrictions, or other serious circumstances are not simply left behind.

Thank you, Senator Goodman, for recognizing Theo, our family’s advocacy, and the importance of making sure every student’s accomplishments matter.
