Native Forest Devastation Must Stop!

0 have signed. Let’s get to 1,500!

Very Important : You do not need to be a resident of WA to sign this petition, or to email the decision makers. We need your support to take this to the National level. We need Forests to breathe.

As you read this, The Forest Products Commission is permitting Old Growth Jarrah Forest blocks in Nannup to be logged. I have witnessed the destruction at McCorkill  next to Helms Block, where endangered Black Cockatoos are nesting.

These Forests are priceless and must be conserved. Instead, They are being trashed for burning to make charcoal, sold at $8 per tonne. Only 15% of these Majestic Trees are sawn for Timber.

Please email the Premier of WA, Mark McGowan as well as Minister's Dawson & Kelly. It is important to let these decision makers know how you feel about the importance of Conserving Native Forests as essential habitat to prevent the potential extinction of  Endangered & Threatened WA species.

Eco tourism is a growing market. Our priority in re building the WA Economy must not undermine the Biodiversity of our Environment. International Tourists desire to see WA Forests and the Wildlife that live there. Once they are gone, they are GONE! This destruction is against the spirit of current State Legislation which fails to protect 300 + year old Trees. The Red Tailed Black, Baudin & Carnaby's Cockatoo. Depend on Old trees to nest in the naturally formed hollows. Please help by sending an email, and / or calling WA Gov. Community Access on
