The Issue

In 1988, Disneytoon Studios was first founded in Glendale, California. It made the very first movie called Ducktales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp, and it was released in August 3, 1990. Disneytoon Studios created some movies that were not released in cinemas. They're called direct-to-video movies. The first direct-to-video movie was Aladdin: The Return of Jafar. The Little Mermaid 3: Ariel's Beginning was released one day before my 6th birthday.

But Disneytoon Studios also created theatrical movies like Pooh's Heffalump Movie.

But sadly, Disneytoon Studios closed on June 28, 2018, resulting in a layoff of 75 animators and staff. As a result, the studio's third Planes film about the future of aviation in outer space was removed from both Disney's film release date schedule of April 12, 2019 and from development.

The closure of Disneytoon Studios came as Disney's vast animation business was undergoing a reorganization. Lasseter would leave the company at year's end after allegations that he engaged in inappropriate workplace behavior. He was chief creative officer at Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Animation Studios.

So we need the Walt Disney Company to revive our most favorite Disney studio who also created several Winnie the Pooh movies.

And also to revive cancelled movies like Mulan 3, Chicken Little 2, Bambi 3, Meet the Robinsons 2, The Jungle Book 3, The Aristocats 2, and others I don't have to mention.

Not to mention the Australian studio of Disneytoon Studios was defuncted in October 2006. So therefore, we want both studios of Disneytoon Studios, one in America, and another in Australia, to reopen to make new movies in the future.

There are two remaining Winnie the Pooh videos from Disney Learning Adventures called Rhyme Time and Good Day, Good Night by Disneytoon Studios. They were meant to be released on January 2007 but had been cancelled for an unknown reason.

This petition is mostly for fans of Disneytoon Studios movies to sign and share.
