We are still making great progress with 2,439 signatures as of the writing of this update, getting close to 2,500, proving that the demand for Disney Channel DVDs is still high in the age of Disney+.
Unfortunately, I regret to inform you that as of May 28th, the Disney+ streaming service has done the unthinkable by removing the 2000 DCOM The Other Me from the service worldwide.
If you browse the Disney Channel Original Movies category on the service, you may notice that the movie is missing in the 2000s category. Also, attempting to view the movie will redirect you to the main Disney+ page. Since this was one of the many DCOMs to suffer from music changes when the service launched, there is a possibility that they've removed it temporarily to reinstate the original soundtrack as they might have been able to secure the rights to the songs that were once removed from the Disney+ print of the movie.
Still, this is a bad thing because the movie was never released officially on a physical home video format (e.g. VHS, DVD, or Blu-ray), meaning the only options you have at this time are purchasing it on a digital marketplace (e.g. iTunes, Amazon Video, or Google Play) or finding a bootleg DVD copy for sale online.
The removal of titles (even temporarily) from streaming services is one of the many reasons why people still desire physical media over streaming. Nevertheless, if you would like to see this movie released on DVD, feel free to reach out to Disney via the contact methods shared on this previous petition update.
