Hello. Today, I have some exciting news, this petition has officially reached 1,029 supporters as of this writing. I never would've thought it would go this far, especially at this rate. Thank you all for signing, sharing, and promoting this petition!
This shows that even though the Disney+ streaming service exists, people still want official physical DVD releases of older Disney Channel content that still has yet to be released in that format.
I understand that they're not likely going to to able to physically (or even digitally) release every single thing in the Disney Channel library, especially all in one going and with potential licensing issues involved, but we do hope to see more classic Disney Channel content get released to DVD soon. Personally, if I was in charge at Walt Disney Home Entertainment, I would start with releasing the Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century movie trilogy to DVD with bonus features included, see how it sells, and decide what to release next from there.
We're not done yet, keep sharing this petition with friends, and be sure to contact Disney to let them know you want more classic Disney Channel programs on DVD, if you haven't already done so (see the previous update for more info). The more people we spread the word to, the more likely this petition is to be successful.
Hopefully someone at Disney Channel or Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment notices this petition and sees how much we fans still want new DVD releases of old Disney Channel programming.
Thank you all for the support.
