I have updated the petition to mention Disney+ specifically, the new streaming service launched on Song of the South's 73rd anniversary (November 12, 2019). Disney has decided to add disclaimers to some of its older films for "outdated cultural depictions", and I feel that this could be part of the solution needed to finally release this film to the American public.
