Demand Disney Parks Never Revert To Pre-Pandemic Line Compression Tactics

Demand Disney Parks Never Revert To Pre-Pandemic Line Compression Tactics
The Issue
Since the beginning of 2020, and the effective start of the Covid-19 pandemic, the world has changed forever. Our past way of doing various activities safely has changed; this even prompted the unprecedented closure of certain Disney Parks for approximately one year. Unfortunately, the government is not enforcing social distancing on the federal level, which leaves major entertainment venues such as Disney Parks within the realm to pick and choose the rules they wish to enforce for the safety of their guests. Given their worldwide presence, a reasonable standard for line queues should be put into place to alleviate any and all confusion. In the past, Disney Parks has been famously known to demand guests "fill in all available space" in lines, and within attraction pre-shows. Please tell Disney Parks that it is unsafe to ever go back to pre-pandemic queue styles; furthermore, demand a virtual queue or contact-free line system to ensure they do not make their guests and staff as vulnerable to such an event again. The previous closure of their parks last year would hopefully be enough to ensure this happens automatically, but we would like a public statement from The Walt Disney Company and Disney Parks committing to a new higher standard for line queues and etiquette, eradicating previous policies, no less than as described above - forever. Not for a month, not for a year, but forever. If your guests pay for a service on your property, it is of utmost importance you protect said guests. Scientific data supports that we may very well experience another pandemic in our lifetime, and it would be beneficial to all if large companies including Disney Parks would take responsibility and protect the health and safety of their clientele. If not for health reasons, please keep your last trip to Disney in mind. Remember the guy with hairy shoulders sweating profusely that stunk in front of you, and how uncomfortably close you were? Please sign.
