The Boeing 747 has been the most iconic passenger aircraft ever..and has been an indelible part of indian aviation and air india for 5 decades..since 22/3/1971. She has flown them all..from heads of state..to royalty..to stars..to millions of us..all flew as maharajahs in the finest ride there was in the skies..and was a true sign of India’s coming of age. she will retire soon..but should not go out without a fitting farewell. Please support requesting the powers that be that she should get a fitting send off as she deserves for her service to humanity and the nation.
