The Issue

Make sure to watch the film above!  Haiti is currently host to the world's largest cholera epidemic with over 500,000 people infected and over 7000 dead since 2010. The disease was introduced by a battalion of Nepalese peacekeepers and while it may have been inadvertent, the UN denies responsibility. With the disease continuing to spread it's vital that the UN takes responsibility and allocates a significant portion of it's (800 Million Dollar) annual Haiti operation budget towards developing better water / sanitation infrastructure and treatment schemes to combat cholera in Haiti.
