Our girls 4x1 relay team was disqualified for a supposed 3rd exchange zone violation. After reviewing clear video footage, it is evident that no violation occurred. We attempted to present this footage during the protest window, but the officials refused to review it even though video proof was accepted for another team the day before. At the same meet, another relay team ran into our lane and was not disqualified, showing clear inconsistency in how rules were enforced.

Despite knowing that they planned to disqualify us, officials still awarded us medals, placed us on the podium, and allowed photos. If the violation were certain, this would not have happened. The handling of this situation lacked transparency and caused unnecessary emotional harm.

This inconsistency in rule enforcement impacted our athletes and resulted in the removal of a performance that broke our school record. We are requesting that our official time be reinstated based on the available evidence and in the interest of fairness, consistency, and athlete integrity.
