Fan tips for a computer-animated Max original TV series titled 'Middle-earth'

The Issue

This TV series should be based on the various incarnations of JRR Tolkien's Middle-earth stories from various forms of media, with the best elements from the various incarnations being used. This TV series should have 8 seasons. Each episode of this TV series should be anywhere from 45 minutes long(without counting the opening & closing production logo sequences and the intro & outro sequences) to 65 minutes long(without counting the opening & closing production logo sequences and the intro & outro sequences). This TV series should be suitable for those aged 7 & up, with it having the same level of violence as the live-action 'The Hobbit' & 'The Lord of The Rings' film trilogies(with the obvious omittance of the extra blood seen in the extended cut of the live-action film 'The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies') and with it being rated TV-PG. Like with the books, the story 'The Hobbit' should be a bit more light-hearted than the story 'The Lord of The Rings'. The 1st-3rd, 6th, & 8th seasons of 'Middle-earth' should be the longest seasons of the series, with each of them having 20-something episodes that are released across 2 or 3 batches that are released 1 or 2 months apart from one another. Every story should have as many episodes as are needed in order for them to be told in proper, unabridged fashions.

The seasons of this TV series should be titled 'Middle-earth - Season 1: The First Age', 'Middle-earth - Season 2: ', 'Middle-earth - Season 3: ', 'Middle-earth - Season 4: The Hobbit'(this season should have 11 episodes, with it being comprised of an 11-parter titled 'To There And Back Again'), 'Middle-earth - Season 5: Armies And Kingdoms', 'Middle-earth - Season 6: The War For Mordor', 'Middle-earth - Season 7: The Lord of The Rings'(this season should have 14 episodes, with it being comprised of a 5-parter titled 'The Fellowship of The Ring', a 4-parter titled 'The Two Towers', and a 5-parter titled 'The Return of The King'), and 'Middle-earth - Season 8: The Fourth Age'.

'Middle-earth - Season 1: The First Age' should be based on the parts of the book 'The Silmarillion' that take place in Middle-earth during the First Age, and the books 'The Children of Hurin', 'Beren And Luthien', and 'The Fall of Gondolin', 'Middle-earth - Seasons 2 & 3' should be based on the parts of the book 'The Silmarillion' that take place in Middle-earth during the Second Age, the book 'The Fall of Numenor', and the live-action TV series 'The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power', 'Middle-earth - Season 5: Armies And Kingdoms' should be based on the online video games 'The Hobbit: Armies of The Third Age' and 'The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth', and 'Middle-earth - Season 6: The War For Mordor' should be based on the home console & PC video games 'Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor'(including the side missions and the DLC story 'Lord of The Hunt') and 'Middle-earth: Shadow of War'(including the side missions), but the dragon/fellbeast(AKA hell-hawk) hybrid creatures that are referred to in the home console & PC video game 'Middle-earth: Shadow of War' as "drakes" should be called something else.

The full titles of the 1st, 10th, & 11th episodes of 'Middle-earth - Season 4: The Hobbit' should be 'To There And Back Again - Part 1: An Unexpected Journey', 'To There And Back Again - Part 10: The Desolation of Smaug', and 'To There And Back Again - Part 11: The Battle of Five Armies'(this episode should be 85 minutes long(without counting the opening & closing production logo sequences and the intro & outro sequences) and the first 10 minutes of this episode(without counting the opening production logo sequence and the intro sequence) should involve Smaug's attack on Lake-town, with this opening sequence being modeled after that of the live-action film 'The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies', but with Bard not being the only bowman to shoot arrows at Smaug, and with the opening sequence ending right after Smaug's body lands, followed by the intro sequence). The 1st-3rd episodes of 'Middle-earth - Season 7: The Lord of The Rings', which are also the 1st-3rd episodes of the multi-parter 'The Fellowship of The Ring', should be subtitled 'The Return of The Shadow', 'Meeting Tom Bombadil', & 'The Quest of The Ring Begins'. The 2nd episode of the multi-parter 'The Two Towers' should be subtitled 'The War of The Ring Begins'. The final episode of 'Middle-earth - Season 7: The Lord of The Rings', which is also the final episode of the multi-parter 'The Return of The King', should be subtitled 'The End of The Third Age' and should be 80 minutes long(without counting the opening & closing production logo sequences and the intro & outro sequences).

It should be established that the Numenorean named Suladan served as the king of both Numenor and Harad under the name "Ar-Pharazon", and then, became a Nazgul(AKA Ringwraith) known as the Ringwraith of Harad(AKA the Betrayer, the Forsaken, the Black Serpent, and the Serpent Lord) after being given a Ring of Power by Sauron, and went on to lead the Haradrim during the Battle of The Pelennor Fields, which was one of the battles of the War of The Ring.

This TV series should contain songs & music compositions from the animated films 'The Hobbit'[1977], 'The Lord of The Rings'[1978], and 'The Return of The King'[1980], the live-action 'The Hobbit' & 'The Lord of The Rings' film trilogies, the home console & PC video games 'The Hobbit'[2003] and 'The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring'[2002], the home console & PC video games 'Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor' and 'Middle-earth: Shadow of War', and the live-action TV series 'The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power'. A number of the songs from the book 'The Hobbit'[1937] and the animated film 'The Hobbit'[1977], the songs 'Song of The Lonely Mountain'(performed by Neil Finn), 'I See Fire'(performed by Ed Sheeran), and 'The Last Goodbye'(performed by Billy Boyd) from the live-action 'The Hobbit' film trilogy, the song 'The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins'(performed by Leonard Nimoy), and a number of the songs from the book 'The Lord of The Rings'[1954] and the animated film 'The Return of The King'[1980] should be played in the background during the end credits sequences of episodes from the 4th & 7th seasons, with the version of the song 'Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold' from the animated film 'The Hobbit'[1977] being played in the background during the end credits sequence of the 1st episode of 'Middle-earth - Season 4: The Hobbit', 'To There And Back Again - Part 1: An Unexpected Journey', and with both the song 'The Last Goodbye'(performed by Billy Boyd) and the song 'The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins'(performed by Leonard Nimoy) being played in the background during the end credits sequence of the final episode of 'Middle-earth - Season 4: The Hobbit', 'To There And Back Again - Part 11: The Battle of Five Armies'. In the 1st episode of 'Middle-earth - Season 4: The Hobbit', 'To There And Back Again - Part 1: An Unexpected Journey', right after Gandalf, Bilbo, and the 13 dwarves have left the Shire, there should be a montage scene that uses the song 'The Greatest Adventure' from the animated film 'The Hobbit'[1977].

For the final episodes of the 3 multi-parters of 'Middle-earth - Season 7: The Lord of The Rings', the songs 'May It Be'(performed by Enya), 'Gollum's Song'(performed by Emiliana Torrini), and 'Into The West'(performed by Annie Lennox), 'Use Well The Days'(performed by Annie Lennox), and 'Frodo of The Nine Fingers'(performed by Glenn Yarbrough) should be played in the background during the end credits sequences. For the 2nd-to-last episode of the 1st multi-parter of 'Middle-earth - Season 7: The Lord of The Rings', 'The Fellowship of The Ring', the song 'In Dreams'(performed by Edward Ross) should be played in the background during the end credits sequence. For the 2nd-to-last episode of the 3rd multi-parter of 'Middle-earth - Season 7: The Lord of The Rings', 'The Return of The King', the song 'The Wearer of The Ring, The Bearer of The Ring' from the animated film 'The Return of The King'[1980] should be played in the background during the end credits sequence.

For the characters in the stories 'The Hobbit' and 'The Lord of The Rings', the various outfits worn by various incarnations of the characters from various forms of media should be used by the characters at different points that they appear in this TV series, with Bilbo and his 13 dwarf allies having backpacks with them in the story 'The Hobbit', and with Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin having backpacks with them in the story 'The Lord of The Rings'.

For multi-parters, the episodes that follow a "Part 1" episode should have an intro sequence that's inspired by the intro sequences of the MCU TV series 'Daredevil' and 'Iron Fist', the intro sequence of the MCU miniseries 'The Defenders', the intro sequences of the TV series 'Game of Thrones', the intro sequence of the TV series 'Castlevania', and the red rotoscoped bits from the animated film 'The Lord of The Rings'[1978], with a map of Middle-earth being among the imagery that's used. Non-multi-parter episodes should also have intro sequences like this.

The following is an example of something that should be done for multi-parters: For the episode 'The Fellowship of The Ring - Part 1: The Return of The Shadow', the on-screen title usage should be like that of the live-action film 'The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring', with the season title, 'Middle-earth - Season 7: The Lord of The Rings', being shown on-screen after a recreation of the opening narration given by Galadriel from the live-action film, in the same fashion that the words "The Lord of The Rings" are shown on-screen in the live-action film, and with the episode title 'The Fellowship of The Ring - Part 1: The Return of The Shadow' being shown on-screen in the same fashion that the words "The Fellowship of The Ring" are shown on-screen in the theatrical cut of the live-action film. For the other episodes of the multi-parter 'The Fellowship of The Ring', at the end of the intro sequence, the TV series title, 'Middle-earth', should be shown on-screen, and after the intro sequence, "Episode [insert overall TV series episode number here]: The Fellowship of The Ring - Part [insert number here]" should be shown on-screen.

The story 'The Hobbit' should have an opening scene that's modeled after the opening scene of the live-action film 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug', but with Gandalf revealing to Thorin that he had found Thorin's missing father, Thrain, while on a mission to Dol Guldur(which is located on the hill named Amon Lanc(AKA the Hill of Dark Sorcery)) and that Thrain gave him the map to Erebor and the key to the secret magical sidedoor to Erebor, both of which he then gives to Thorin. It should be established that Thror was killed via decapitation by Azog(AKA Azog The Defiler and Azog The Pale Orc)(who should have the same design that he had in the live-action 'The Hobbit' film trilogy, and who should be shown wearing this armor during said event: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/lotr/images/3/3c/640px-Azog.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20170102193033.), which led to the War of Dwarves And Orcs, and that during the Battle of Azanulbizar(which was the last battle of the War of Dwarves And Orcs), Azog(who should be shown wearing this armor during this event: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/lotr/images/5/57/The_Lord_of_the_Rings_Online_-_Azog.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20210614114840.) killed Nain Orcsfoe, Azog's left forearm & hand were sliced off by Thorin, and Azog was decapitated by Dain Ironfoot(who's Nain Orcsfoe's son). The part of the story that involves the stone-trolls named Tom, Bert, & William should be modeled after that of the live-action film 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey'.

The parts of the story of the live-action 'The Hobbit' film trilogy that involve Radagast in Mirkwood(AKA Greenwood, Greenwood The Great, Eryn Galen, and Taur-e-Ndaedelos), Radagast investigating Dol Guldur, and Radagast distracting the Hunter Orcs(including Yazneg and Fimbul) who were after Gandalf, Bilbo, and the 13 dwarves so that they can get to a secret passage to Rivendell should be used. There should be a scene that's modeled after the scene from the live-action film 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' in which Azog kills his 2nd-in-command, Yazneg, with it being revealed that after Azog's death, Sauron had him resurrected because of how good of an orc chieftan(AKA orc-lord) he was. The section of the story that involves Goblin-town and Gollum should pull from the live-action film 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey', and the home console & PC video game 'The Hobbit'[2003](the characters created for which named Balfor, Ugslap, and Krugbit should be used). Gandalf's sidequest with Radagast to investigate the High Falls of Rhudaur from the live-action film 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' should be used. Gandalf's sidequest to return to Dol Guldur alongside the other members of the White Council(AKA the Council of The Wise)(who are Saruman, Radagast, Elrond, Galadriel, Cirdan, and Glorfindel) to stop the Necromancer(AKA Sauron), as mentioned in one of the appendices of the book 'The Lord of The Rings'[1954], should be used.

The events of the levels 'Troll-hole', 'Over Hill And Under Hill', and 'A Warm Welcome' from the home console & PC video game 'The Hobbit'[2003] should be used. The section of the story that involves Bilbo and the 13 dwarves in Mirkwood(AKA Greenwood, Greenwood The Great, Eryn Galen, and Taur-e-Ndaedelos) should pull from the versions of it from the live-action film 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug', and the console & PC video game 'The Hobbit'[2003](the characters created for which named Corwin and the Wight Lord should be used). With the section of the story that involves the 13 dwarves being held prisoner by the elves of the Woodland Realm, Legolas, Tauriel, and Lianna(who should all take part in the Battle of Five Armies) should appear and like in the book 'The Hobbit'[1937], the 13 dwarves should be prisoners for 2 weeks, with Bilbo(who uses the One Ring to be invisible for the majority of this timeframe) reluctantly stealing food from the elves in order to survive, and with Kili and Tauriel developing crushes on one another. Bilbo and the 13 dwarves should escape without getting caught, like in the book 'The Hobbit'.

The Battle of Five Armies should pull from the versions of it from the book 'The Hobbit'[1937], the live-action film 'The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies', and the home console & PC video game 'The Hobbit'[2003]. Azog and his son named Bolg(who should have the same design that he had in the live-action 'The Hobbit' film trilogy) should take part in the Battle of Five Armies, with Azog(who now has a sword on his left arm and is wearing plate armor, like in the live-action film 'The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies') leading an army of orcs from Dol Guldur and Bolg leading an army of orcs from Gundabad(which is where Azog and Bolg are from). During the Battle of Five Armies, Fili should be killed via impalement by Azog and Kili should be mortally wounded by Bolg when he saves Tauriel from being killed by Bolg. Near the end of the Battle of Five Armies, Azog should be killed by Thorin and Bolg should be killed by Beorn.

For the story 'The Lord of The Rings', Galadriel's opening narration from the live-action film 'The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring' should be used, but instead of her saying "For none now live who remember it.", she should say "For few now live who remember it.". It should be established that because of Saruman(who for many years had secretly wanted to gain the One Ring so that he could use it against Sauron for the sake of the greater good) using the palantir(AKA seeing-stone) called the Orthanc-stone, he got corrupted by Sauron, but instead of this resulting in Sauron having yet another pawn, it resulted in Saruman seeking to gain all of Sauron's power and rule over the world. After Frodo gets stabbed with a Morgul-knife(AKA Morgul-blade) by the Nazgul(AKA Ringwraith) named the Witch-king of Angmar(who should be a Numenorean prince named Er-Murazor, like in the tabletop RPG 'Middle-earth Role-Playing'), both Glorfindel(who should ride the horse named Asfaloth) and Arwen(who should ride a horse with an original name) should protect Frodo from the Nazgul(AKA the Ringwraiths), and get him to Rivendell. Arwen should be one of the elves in the Battle of Helm's Deep(AKA the Battle of The Hornburg), as was originally planned for the live-action film 'The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers'. Faramir and Denethor should be portrayed how they were in the book 'The Lord of The Rings'[1954].

In the multi-parter 'The Two Towers', Gandalf being alive should not be revealed until the scene in which he's reunited with Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli, with what happened to Gandalf after he fell being shown on-screen while he's telling them what happened to him. In the multi-parter 'The Return of The King', the Grey Company and the Army of The Dead(AKA the Oathbreakers and the Dead Men of Dunharrow) should take part in both the Battle of Pelargir, and the Battle of The Pellenor Fields. Smeagol should not die, with Frodo wrestling the One Ring back from Gollum and throwing it into the lava of Mount Doom.

The various title fonts that have been used for the various works done for this franchise, including the various versions of stories that have various versions, should be used.

Chapter names from the book 'The Hobbit'[1937] should be used on-screen in 'Middle-earth - Season 4: The Hobbit' and chapter names from the book 'The Lord of The Rings'[1954] should be used on-screen in 'Middle-earth - Season 7: The Lord of The Rings'.

Gandalf should be voiced by someone who can sound just like Ian McKellen, Saruman should be voiced by someone who can sound just like Christopher Lee, Galadriel should be voiced by Cate Blanchett, Smeagol & his alter named Gollum, the Witch-king of Angmar(AKA Er-Murazor), the Uruk-hai orc named Mauhur, and the orc named Snaga should be voiced by Andy Serkis, Talion should be voiced by Troy Baker, Bilbo Baggins should be voiced by Martin Freeman when he's young and someone who can sound just like Ian Holm when he's old, the Great Goblin should be voiced by someone who can do the same voice for the character that Barry Humphries did, Smaug should be voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch, Frodo Baggins should be voiced by Elijah Wood, Samwise "Sam" Gamgee should be voiced by Sean Astin, Meriadoc "Merry" Brandybuck should be voiced by Dominic Monaghan, Peregrin "Pippin" Took should be voiced by Billy Boyd, Aragorn should be voiced by Viggo Mortensen, Legolas should be voiced by Orlando Bloom, Gimli and Treebeard should be voiced by John Rhys-Davies, and Eowyn should be voiced by Ashley Johnson.

Thorin's appearance should be a cross between his appearance from the book 'The Hobbit'[1937] and his appearance from the live-action 'The Hobbit' film trilogy. The Nazgul(AKA the Ringwraiths) should have glowing red eyes, like they did in the animated film 'The Lord of The Rings'[1978].

There should be a spin-off anthology TV series titled 'Untold Ancient Tales of Arda' that tells other stories that occurred during the 1st-4th Ages of the Earth(AKA Arda) not just on the continent Middle-earth, but on other continents as well. This TV series should have at least 10 seasons. Each season of this TV series should have 20-something episodes. In addition to this TV series pulling from the appendices of the book 'The Lord of The Rings'[1954], pulling from the book 'Untold Tales of Numenor And Middle-earth', pulling from the 13-volume book series 'The History of Middle-earth', and pulling from the book 'The Nature of Middle-earth' and having a lot of original stories(including slice-of-life stories), it should use the 'Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor' DLC story 'The Bright Lord' and the 'Middle-earth: Shadow of War' DLC stories 'The Blade of Galadriel', and 'Desolation of Mordor', it should use the story that was created for the anime film 'The Lord of The Rings: The War of The Rohirrim'(the music score from which should be used)(with the 3-parter based on said film being titled 'The War of The Rohirrim'), the stories that were created for Middle-earth-related tabletop RPGs & trading card RPGs, the stories that were created for the play-by-mail game 'Middle-earth Play-By-Mail', the stories that were created for the home console & PC video games(the music scores from which should be used) 'The Lord of The Rings: War of The Ring', 'The Lord of The Rings: The Third Age'(the multi-parter that's based on which should be titled 'Berethor's Fellowship'), 'The Lord of The Rings: War In The North'(the multi-parter that's based on which should be titled 'War In The North'), 'The Lord of The Rings: Conquest', 'The Lord of The Rings: Return To Moria', and 'Tales of The Shire: A 'The Lord of The Rings' Video Game' and the stories that were created for the PC video games(the music scores from which should be used) 'The Lord of The Rings: The Battle For Middle-earth' & 'The Lord of The Rings: The Battle For Middle-earth 2'(including the expansion story 'The Rise of The Witch-king') and 'The Lord of The Rings Online'(with the multi-parters that are based on the stories 'Shadows of Angmar', 'Mines of Moria', 'Allies of The King', and 'The Strength of Sauron' being named after them).

There should be a TV series sequel to 'Middle-earth' and 'Untold Ancient Tales of Arda' titled 'Chroniclers of The Ancient History of Arda' that picks up many thousands of years after said TV series, and that pulls from the unfinished JRR-Tolkien-written literary works titled 'The Book of Lost Tales', 'The Lost Road', and 'The Notion Club Papers'.

There should be a miniseries that is based on the video game 'The Lord of The Rings: Gollum'(the music score from which should be used) and is simply titled 'Gollum'.

The franchise that all of these projects are part of should be called the Arda Legendarium Animated Universe franchise.

There should be a TV series that has the "What if...?" scenarios of the PC video games(the music scores of which should be used) 'The Lord of The Rings: The Battle For Middle-earth' & 'The Lord of The Rings: The Battle For Middle-earth 2' and 'The Lord of The Rings: Conquest'.

The writers of these productions should be die-hard fans.
