I would like to discuss the health of our dear high school, West Mecklenburg High school is very unsafe and unhygienic, there is vast amounts of roaches, and black mold. The bathrooms are very unsanitary, blood tampons are soaking in water, carvings in the stalls of vulgarity, roaches on seats, mice occasionally. The black mold is growing in the mobiles at a fast rate and it is now storage for everything including desks, beetles, spiders, mold and roaches of larger sizes than normal. The 900 building is known for it's mold and nothing was done, instead it was simply painted over to cover the issue. It is disgraceful in every manor. On the matter of that the food is horrible, nobody really knows whats actually in it, we are not allowed to know, and the proportions are malnutritious and most kids do not eat it because it leaves people still hungry, it hurts stomachs and has given students food poisoning once before. We need this petition signed to get the word out there of the bad conditions of this school. CMS really needs to do something about it rather than ignore it and harm children, and cause unsafe conditions to further worsen.
