Kampanya metni

Under the Taliban regime, women and girls in Afghanistan face severe oppression. As someone who has experienced this suffering firsthand, I must sincerely share that women are prohibited from going out, attending school, working, entering politics, or speaking in public without a male chaperone. These restrictions effectively erase women’s presence in society.

Even access to healthcare poses a major obstacle for women under Taliban rule. Because the healthcare workforce consists entirely of men, a woman alone cannot easily access healthcare services. This situation deprives women of vital healthcare and leads to health inequities.

Furthermore, sexual violence and forced marriage against women and girls have become alarmingly widespread in society. Sexual violence violates human rights and dims women’s futures. We must take immediate action to put an end to this unacceptable situation.

We call on world leaders and the international community to exert pressure on the Taliban regime to restore these fundamental human rights to women and girls and ensure their participation in education and the workforce. A simple signature can contribute to a major change that could give a voice to women in Afghanistan.

Please sign this petition to help end this oppression and ensure that women can regain their fundamental rights.
