I would like to thank all the defenders of free speech who signed this petition, despite not getting the apology we were after, we were at least able to generate a discussion. A similar discussion in America, brought about by the election of Donald Trump, has resulted in the New York Times backflipping on its position of letting their editors views come before independent, original journalism. We can hope this will also happen to the Australian media. If you look at the comments on each news article I think its clear to see who the silent majority are. Thanks for the Hugh Mungus effort everyone.
