Our Goal is to relax the dress code in Paducah Middle school. It can make many students feel objectified. It's focus on limiting the articles of clothing students can and cannot wear also seem targeted toward Presenting-Feminine Students, limiting the length of skirt or height of hole/tear in jeans. The dress code is not only Unfair to Feminine-presenting students, it also makes the assumption that if a Feminine Student is wearing an article of clothing that does not comply with the dress code than all masculine-presenting students will become immediately distracted. which is not only hetero-normative Assuming that all boys will be attracted to girls and be distracted by them, it also portrays boys as people with no control over there eyes or actions if they see a woman who is not complying to the dress code.

    A possible solution is to get rid of the dress code and let the parent/guardian at home decide what is and is not appropriate, this solution will take the responsibility from the school system and make everyone more comfortable at school. This change can be implemented easily by just sending a news letter home with children notifying the parent/guardian of the new system,
