Hi everyone, I hope you all are doing well, happy, healthy and safe. Here’s some updates with where we are on our goal...

The Large Ocean Nations Forum will be taking place at the end of this August, aka the perfect chance and opportunity/platform to have our key issues addressed. There will be representatives as well as stakeholders from the same countries we all live in! Not to mention the NAFIG will be in attendance (the North Atlantic Fisheries inspection group, who are also hosting workshops there).. how can any of these organizations be there and let this continue on without saying anything? Or, maybe it’s about time that our representatives take the initiative and do what they should’ve done a long time ago.. I would suggest writing your representatives and the outlined groups that will be participating at the forum to bring awareness of the situation, as well as any other issues revolved around the topic of inhumane treatment of animals. Please take a look at the key topics of discussion they will be covering if you have any input.

(especially do this if you live in the countries that will be attending this forum)

This includes all of us! We’re in this together and together we can make positive changes. We can be assertive without being aggressive. A concept that the govt and these private sectors should work accordingly by. It needs to get done, no more stonewalling from them and no more tolerance from us.

The EU needs to take accountability and resolve these + future tensions that have been created worldwide as a result from it. Did you know the EU actually sponsors the Faroe Islands behind a group called Horizon 2020 that has funded the islands with a budget of over €80 billion for the past 6 years?? Huh?? You think with this amount of control, influence and capital, they can’t manage to redistribute that funding in a more progressive manner? I don’t know... maybe one that’s less barbaric and primal? One that is aligned with a brand to protect/save our planet? It’s common decency and common sense... something is corrupt here and its time to bring this system down.

Many groups that are dedicated to protecting and restoring the worlds oceans on a global scale, have heard and share our tears. In the most recent weeks there has been much outrage and a calling of arms to our cause. While we are continuously being exposed to the atrocities that goes behind closed doors of our public officials, we must not forget....

They work for us, not the other way around. So don’t be discouraged with everything going on and those who have let us down. We will all prevail and make up for these mistakes that our history has made.
