The Ontario Government Needs to Hear From You
Today I sent this Email to every Member of the Ontario Provincial Parliament. We have a citizen responsibility to protect children in schools and all public institutions. Please share this far and wide. Criminals who harm people should not be allowed to be Teachers, Foster Parents, Lawyers, Doctors, or any Profession.

Children need to be Supported and Protected in our Schools
The Ministry of Education has been aware for 15 years that convicted child molesters are allowed by the College of Teachers to be teachers in Ontario Schools. https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2011/09/29/bad_teachers_ontarios_secret_list.html
A report approved by the Ontario Secondary Teachers Federation was submitted to the Ministry of Education more then 15 years ago. The Report included how the College allows sex offenders to return to teaching by excluding their criminal record. After the College was exposed, they hired a Lawyer/Former Judge to represent their interest.

The Ontario College of Teachers has a budget of over 41 million dollars promoting their public image. They have a self promoting magazine, maintain a massive web site, hire TV and world personalities for special meetings including Marc-Andre Blanchard, Ambassador to the UN and Rex Murphy Commentator and Journalist. The Prime Minister’s mother, Margret Trudeau even spoke at a meeting June 1 2018. We can assume she was well paid for her presentation.

The Ontario College needs to be closed.
1. No Teacher in Ontario can protest racism, personal abuse and or questionable practises by the Ontario College of Teachers. If they speak up the teacher’s family will suffer the outrageous consequences.

5. The College of Teachers is well known for questionable practices. One person asked for a delayed in a hearing for medical reasons, the discipline hearing proceeded without the accused. Our courts would never allow such outrageous conduct. Everyone has a right to be heard.
6. Not one school under jurisdiction of the Ontario College of Teachers is known to teach Canada’s amazing Black History. Upper Canada was the first place in the world to phase out slavery starting in 1793. The St Catharines Colour Corps saved Canada from United States taking over Canada during the War of 1812. 8. The Ontario College of Teachers claim they operate in the public interest. Despite this claim they have an outrageous record of allowing numerous abusers to teach in our schools. Some of those teachers appear in classrooms drunk, sexist, abusive, racist, and morally deprived. Anyone who speaks up can and have been kicked out of teaching.

9. The Teachers Unions hand pick their own candidates to fill the majority of 23 seats on the Ontario College of Teachers Council. It is public knowledge that 95% of teachers refuse to vote during the College of Teachers’ elections. Judicial Independence
As a Justice of the Peace in the Northwest Territories (1978–82) “Judicial Independence” was critical for justice. I was never provided millions of dollars promoting self interest like the Ontario College of Teachers. No one wrote my decisions for me and no one could be found guilty without evidence. The hearings of misconduct should be judicially independent and not dictated by administrators or their paid Lawyers.
Public Apology
The Premier should make a public apology to all the victims in our schools for the abuse they have suffered. Kind and dedicated front line workers such as teachers should be respected with dignity. All children must be protected from abuse. Each child in school should feel comfortable to approach their teachers like their parents when they need help.
Stop the Abuse, Stop the Dysfunctional Processes
In 2011 the Commission investigating the British Columbia College of Teachers reported their College was dysfunctional and, consequently, the organization was abolished and replaced by an independent agency of their Government. Clearly there has been so many problems with the Ontario College of Teachers that the Ontario Government must seriously look at closing the Ontario College of Teachers. The College needs to be replaced with a balanced judicial process, so children and dedicated teachers are protected from racism, sexism, and criminal offenders who are allowed to work in Ontario classrooms for more than 15 years. Teachers and students who commit crimes in Ontario Schools should be charged under our criminal laws and not hidden behind administrators who are paid an income well over $100,000.
