These are historical facts about pigeons, and all they did for our nation during dark wartime days. These facts are currently being withheld from public knowledge, but must be made known, so that people’s attitudes towards pigeons can be changed - from hatred to love, respect and compassion.
We owe so much to pigeons for the thousands of lives they saved.
Let’s be more aggressive in our bid to stop cruelty to pigeons and seagulls! Please share the link to Backyard Poultry with your MP, government, ministers, schools, colleges, charities, social media, radio advertisements, television etc, and anyone who might help. Tell friends and colleagues about this petition and why it is so important to get the abuse stopped. It creates a culture of cruelty and an acceptance of abuse, and leads to further abuse of animals and people.

Ask the Prime Minister to enforce the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, which “protects” all wild birds, including pigeons and seagulls, but is not enforced.
