Teaching children to be kind, from an early age, is so important.
Kindness to pigeons and all animals must be taught to children and young people. Pigeons deserve a good life. They are loyal, intelligent and friendly. They served our nation during wartime, as vital messengers, and their contribution must not be forgotten. They helped us win the freedom which we all enjoy today.
Pigeons do not pose a risk to human health, as confirmed by vets and the RSPB.
Persecution of pigeons spoils Britain’s reputation as a Nation Of Animal Lovers. Pigeons need protection under the Animal Welfare Sentience Bill, being discussed in Parliament.
