Kindness to pigeons this New Year
Let’s stop the abuse of pigeons. It should not be happening, but has become widespread.
The support of a well known person or organisation could make all the difference to this petition. Do you know of such a person or organisation? Would they be willing to give this petition their support and do everything that they can to get pigeon abuse stopped? If so, please contact them, and share the petition link with them.
Explain the problem we are trying to solve, and ask for their help. Well known people who care about animals include Carrie Johnson, Ricky Gervais, Mike Tyson, Mel C, Sarah Brightman and Peter Egan. These are just a few. There are also many other individuals, animal welfare organisations and other organisations, who might be able to help.

At present, everyone with the power to stop pigeon abuse and persecution that I have contacted is unwilling to stop it.
Pigeon abuse is cruel and unnecessary. Pigeons saved thousands of lives in wartime as messengers. Is abuse their reward? There is no reason for pigeons to be persecuted now. Every life is precious.
