A well known person or organisation that cares, and would stand up for pigeons, could make a success of our petition to stop the abuse of pigeons. Their support could make all the difference to this petition.

Explain the problem we are trying to solve, and ask for their help. Well known people who are reputed to care about animals might include Carrie Johnson, Ricky Gervais, Mike Tyson, Mel C, Sarah Brightman and Peter Egan. These are just a few possibilities. There are also many other individuals, animal welfare organisations as well as other organisations, who might be able to help.

At present, everyone with the power to stop pigeon abuse and persecution that I have contacted is unwilling to take any action to stop it. I have already contacted many individuals and organisations, including the following, without success. If more people made contact, however, they might be persuaded to change their minds and stop the abuse of pigeons:-

Pigeon abuse is cruel and unnecessary. Pigeons saved thousands of lives in wartime as messengers. Is abuse their reward? There is no reason for pigeons to be pursecuted now. Every life is precious.
