Pigeons today are homeless and wander around looking for food, but they used to live in pigeon houses, built especially for them in towns and villages. Pigeon houses should be built for pigeons today, to give them somewhere to live, and be protected from abuse, and so that they can provide guano, which is highly prized as an organic fertiliser by organic farmers and gardeners. Let’s ask MPs to support the idea of building pigeon houses, so that pigeons have a new status, and a new role in life, as part of a greener world for us all!
