Everyone should be able to enjoy parks and public places in safety, without any possibility of seeing abuse there - particularly abuse of pigeons.
It is heartbreaking to see pigeons being kicked and chased.
We want peace and safety in public areas. This is a basic human right in our democracy.
Can you help to get this abuse outlawed and stopped, and will your MP help? Can anyone else act, to stop this cruelty?

Ask your MP to give protection specifically to pigeons under the new Animal Welfare Sentience laws and Action Plan for Animal Welfare.
Let’s cut out cruelty to pigeons, and teach children to be kind to them. There is no reason to persecute them. Pigeons and all animals need our kindness and respect. Let’s give them a life worth living.
This petition reached 10,000 signatures on 21 September 2021, when it was submitted to the Prime Minister.

We need to know how the government intends to stop pigeon abuse and give pigeons full, effective and specific protection under the law.
