What is happening to our country, and our democracy, when pigeon abuse is considered “normal” and where our petition, of 10,862 signatures, is overlooked? We stand together against this culture of cruelty. When will we see kindness return?
Will you persuade your MP to raise this matter of cruelty to pigeons, in Parliament? We need our MPs to represent our views. We want our voices to be heard. We will not be ignored.
The idea of providing pigeons with pigeon houses, similar to dovecotes, is a good one. Pigeon houses were used for thousands of years, and could be used again today. Pigeon houses would protect pigeons from harm, give them homes, a safe refuge from abuse and would enable them to provide guano, which is highly prized by organic farmers and gardeners today, as organic fertiliser. Pigeon houses could therefore give pigeons a whole new status, and a new role in life!

Please share the song. There is no need to persecute pigeons. They’ve done nothing wrong, as the song says!
Pigeons helped the allies to win WW1 and WW2. They saved thousands of human lives, as vital messengers, and their bravery helped us to win victory and the freedom which we all enjoy today. Pigeons are beautiful creatures who deserve our respect. Abuse of any creature, whatever their species, is wrong.
