Good manners matter, particularly in public parks, gardens, city squares and other public places, so why is it so difficult to get anyone to stop the cruelty to pigeons - who are singled out for kicking, chasing and bullying - and risky, if not dangerous, to defend them?
The abuse of pigeons is a very mean form of Speciesism. It is increasingly violent and makes public places unsafe and threatening.
Please ask your MP to protect pigeons under the new animal welfare laws. Contact your MP on writetothem.com
Pigeons are not a risk to human health, as confirmed by vets and RSPB. There is absolutely no excuse for abusing them.
