Pigeon abuse is Speciesism, the animal equivalent of racism. It has no place in Great Britain, a Nation Of Animal Lovers!
Speciesism values one species of creature more highly than another, extolling the virtues of one species, while denigrating another, for no reason other than blind prejudice.
Pigeons are maligned by the BBC, who have forgotten that pigeons saved thousands of human lives during both World Wars, flying across stricken battlefields of Europe, wounded, to reach their destination, with vital messages attached to their legs. Why is the heroism of pigeons hardly mentioned today?
Kindness to pigeons must be taught to children, to replace the cult of hatred and abuse. Pigeons are beautiful creatures, clean, loyal, intelligent and friendly. They served our nation during wartime and their sacrifice must never be forgotten. They helped us win victory over tyranny and the freedom which we all enjoy today.
Pigeons do not pose a risk to human health, as confirmed by vets and the RSPB. Persecution of pigeons ruins our enjoyment of parks and public places.
