Our decisions and actions have consequences. The people of our nation and the world are strongly experiencing the calamitous effects of excessive carbon emissions and their dire effect on global weather and crops, deforestation, and willful pollution and harm to the ecosystems we need to survive. By not addressing the issue of climate change, we are complicit in the denial and further destruction of our one home, the Earth. We ask the President and Congress to address this issue NOW according to the scientific facts and curb all deleterious policies and actions that promote and escalate these un-natural disasters. We are responsible to future generations.
