Meaningful NIMH recognition of ADHD as a lifelong disorder

We need to band together to demand meaningful recognition from NIMH that ADHD is a lifelong disorder.

ADHD is a genetically inherited disorder. However, it is still treated primarily as a childhood disorder.

NIMH still states:
"Some children with ADHD continue to have it as adults."

This must Change.

Letter to
Director NIMH Thomas R. Insel,

President of the United States
I just signed the following petition addressed to: Thomas R. Insel, M.D., Director NIMH

----------------
I demand the meaningful recognition of ADHD as a lifelong disorder and funding support of research for Adult ADHD.

ADHD is genetically inherited. However, it is still treated primarily as a childhood disorder.
NIMH still states:
"Some children with ADHD continue to have it as adults."

This needs to change.
