For the first 4 games of this season Sunderland A.F.C. fielded an ineligible player (Ji Dong-Won) and only escaped with a fine. AFC Wimbledon, Oxford City FC and Harrogate Town FC were all given points deductions for the exact same offence. How is that fair? They also fielded the player against MK Dons in the 2nd round of the Capital One cup which they then went on to reach the final.
