animal crisis. Our streets are flooded with abandoned pets, and our current "solution" is sending them to Riverside County shelters that are already at 220% capacity. While the City Council tells us to "be patient," animals are being dumped every single day.

I started this petition as a solo mission because of my deep passion for animals and my belief that their well-being is a reflection of our community's heart. Watching our local shelter sit empty while our pets are shipped miles away is a failure I couldn't ignore. This isn’t backed by a big organization or a political group—it is just me, fueled by a love for our four-legged neighbors and a demand for common-sense spending. What started as one person's concern has already grown to over 104 voices, and I won't stop until our city treats its animals and its taxpayers with the respect they deserve."
