In May 1999, CoroCoro and 64 Mario Stadium held contests for players of the wildly popular "Pokémon Snap" game, in which they could submit their best snaps and the winners had their artwork printed on an actual card. Ten Pokémon Snap cards were created through these contests, using Snap photos with Base Set card info. Bulbapedia is an excellent resource for further information.

Today, Pokémon collectors young and old enjoy learning about the original Pokémon Snap cards, and even doing their best to collect them! What better way to re-invigorate the popularity of the original Pokémon Snap, and introduce new players to collecting, than to create a New Pokémon Snap Card Contest?

This petition will raise awareness to let The Pokémon Company and relevant partners understand how high the demand is for a new Snap Card Contest. If we can get enough people to sign, it would be wonderful for players of the new game to have a chance to participate in a contest just like in 1999 and get their best snaps printed into official cards.
