As a total newbie to petitioning, I have been amazed at the wide geographical spread of our signatories so far: not only all parts of the UK, but also Texas, the Netherlands and Gibraltar to name just a few. And we have been getting encouraging messages on social media from folk in Scotland who are pleased to see people in other parts of the UK making a positive and emotional case for asking Scots to stay in the Union.
