To utilize local green areas not in use as dedicated areas for solar farms and small sized wind powered plants to provide electricity to the local community . 

Each plant can be maintained by locally qualified personnel and help the community to get engaged in the development of a more sustainable future for all . 

Current power stations and wind farms are both an eyesore and bad for the environment with a lack of options for recycling parts within the industry . Teams of engineers have to travel many miles for repairs and servicing . Power outages become more widespread and disruptive on a larger scale during storms leaving many homes and businesses without electricity that keep our society running smoothly . It would provide more work locally for engineers , electricians , fitters , fabricators and many more and without the need for long distance travel . 

This will provide a clean and safer way to power our communities without the need for large energy bills on households  and businesses . 

Any remaining parts of these green areas can then be used to grow food for the people living in the area also helping to reduce our overall carbon footprint as well as letting people come together and engage in creating a cleaner world for the benefit of everyone .
