On 24th February, the gate between CNS playing fields and Eaton Golf Club will be closed. This gate is used by school children from CNS and Eaton Primary School when they walk to school. When it closes, they will be forced to go along busy roads (including the A11). It will also significantly increase the distance they have to walk. We believe this will put some people off walking to school. This is a shame from the point of view of our children's health, but we also worry that traffic/congestion could increase in the Greenways/ Sunningdale/ Branksome Rd areas.

We would like the parties responsible for the decision to close the gate to work together and find a way of keeping this pedestrian route open.

We are trying to demonstrate here how important this issue is to the Eaton community.
