The official petition for the innocence of Andrew and Tristan Tate. To Marco Rubio.
The Issue
Dear Secretary of State Marco Rubio,
As Secretary of State, you hold the final authority over extradition decisions of the United States. The arrest of Andrew and Tristan Tate in Miami is seen by millions of Americans and people worldwide as a clear case of political persecution. The brothers, who are American citizens, are facing extradition to the United Kingdom over questionable allegations dating back years before their time in Romania.
We urge you to use your authority and ensure the following:
• A thorough and fair review of all charges by U.S. authorities before any extradition is even considered.
• No extradition of the Tate brothers to the United Kingdom as long as there are doubts about the fairness of the proceedings, political motivation, or the strength of the evidence.
• The protection of the rights of American citizens abroad – America First means that U.S. citizens must not be handed over to foreign systems that may be driven by political interests.
• An immediate review of their detention conditions and an appropriate decision regarding release on bail during the ongoing proceedings, as long as there is no proven immediate flight risk or danger of reoffending.
Millions of people see this case as a disturbing example of how Cancel Culture and foreign governments attempt to silence critical voices. The Tate brothers have never committed a crime against the United States.
Secretary Rubio, you have the power to deliver *justice* here. Show that the Trump Administration protects American citizens and does not bow to international pressure. Personally review this case and prevent an extradition that many view as an act of revenge rather than real justice.
America First also means: No extradition of our citizens to questionable foreign justice systems.
Thank you for taking this case seriously.
