The issue

We have reached the most important stage of this campaign: the official NSW Parliamentary e-petition is now live.

Although you signed and supported this Change.org campaign, your signature does not automatically transfer to the parliamentary petition. To help us reach the 20,000 official signatures required for a debate in the NSW Parliament, you must add your name again through the Parliament website.

E-Petition

The petition calls for a two-year trial of one clearly designated pet-friendly carriage on every NSW train. It is a practical compromise offering dog owners a transport option while preserving pet-free choices for other passengers.

We have only 12 weeks, closing on 4 November 2026 Please sign now, then share the official link with three NSW residents.

Your support brought the campaign this far. Now we need to turn that support into 20,000 official parliamentary signatures. Thank you for standing with us.

Thank you for continuing to stand with us. We are one step closer! 🐾

Pup Dates is proudly supporting and backing both this petition and the forthcoming Parliamentary e-petition. If you cannot sign the potion here it is also on Pup Dates website

If you have already signed this petition, thank you. Your support has brought us to this important next stage.

Please now share it with just three other people. If every supporter does the same, together we can send the NSW Government a message that cannot be ignored.

Our dogs enrich our lives every day. Let’s give them—and the people who love them—the opportunity to participate fully in community life without needing a car.

Sign and share the petition today—and help us make pet-friendly public transport a reality in NSW.
