The New "Nintendo Switch 2" should be re-named

As an avid lover of Nintendo and an active part of the gaming community, we believe embracing unique console names enhances our culture. The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 has provoked discussions around its moniker, stimulating a far-reaching passion for uniqueness and novelty amongst us, the gamers. Therefore, we propose a professional name change to "Nintendo Swap."

Nintendo, with an impressive legacy spanning over 130 years, has been a mainstay in many of our lives, generating game consoles that are not just a piece of technology but form an integral part of our memories and experiences. The name 'Switch' for the first edition of the console signified the advanced ability of the gadget to “switch” from a portable device to a home game system. It carved a unique identity for itself amongst a sea of consoles.

However, as we look forward to the second edition, sticking to the tag 'Switch 2' seems to deviate from the core creativity that our beloved Nintendo stands for. We propose 'Nintendo Swap' as the new name - staying true to its function, and also marking an unmistakable continuity from its predecessor. This is not just a name change, but a nod to our collective yearning for uniqueness and the art of reinventing ourselves while staying rooted to our essence.

We, the undersigned, urge Nintendo to consider our appeal - not as a harsh criticism but as a testament to the impact they have on their audience.
