Currently, the English Montreal School Board (EMSB) is refusing its teachers to teach or assign any work during the current Covid-19 outbreak. This decision will inevitably delay the academic agenda of its students, by lengthening the school year into summer break among other possible repercussions. If the EMSB should decide to begin enrolling students in online classes it is possible that the repercussions on students could be decreased. Considering that Ontario has began online courses with "Learn at Home" Quebec should follow in this trend. Furthermore, the fact that the EMSB has not began online courses during this social isolation is a waste of time, a waste of opportunity and a disappointment to myself and all other students in the school board.
